The Buffalo Bills are in a similar position to where we were about two years ago. They are currently in flux between trying to figure out if they will be a good team or a bad team while figuring out if they’re new dual threat quarterback will lead them to the promise land. Also trying out their rookie
head coach; I am not going to lie, I have never heard of Doug Marrone but if he can make the Bills relevant then he has done more than Rivera.
If we see the same Panthers defense that we had last week then don’t expect many rushing yards to come out of the Bills on Sunday. The regenerated defensive line with Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short contained both Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson. We forced Wilson to beat us with his arm, something E.J. Manuel will have to do, and as big a fan as I am in his potential I do not
believe he can win a football game with his arm alone right now. So with this new impressive Panthers defense I think Carolina will have a big advantage against the unstable Bills offense.
The Panthers also had their struggles on offense last week. Under new offensive coordinator Mike Schula the Panthers have been more gun shy then in previous years with Cam Newton. This week will prove though if the Panthers lackluster offense was due to Seattle having a dominate defense or Carolina having a slow start. I expect Carolina to have a better showing on offense against a team with less power on defense.
To sum up this short and sweet article I would like to predict a Panthers win; 23-7. This game will
come down to the Panthers defense making E.J. Manuel work for every little bit he can and Greg
Hardy having a breakout game this week. While Manuel will struggle Cam will start getting bigger plays against a lesser defense and the running backs will get back to their old ways. Hopefully I will actually get to watch the game tomorrow instead of working, either way I hope for a great game that gives us all hope for amazing things to come.
