Who: Charlotte Hornets Vs Miami Heat
What: Regular Seaon Game #5
When: Wednesday November 5th, 2014
Where: Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte, NC
The Horners hope tonight is the night the losing streak against Miami comes to a hault. It's pretty simple, when Hornets fans think about the Heat, they think about taking loses. Since 2010, the Hornets have not beaten the Heat. That's quite a long time. Hopefully the Horners are able to turn it around tonight in front of there home fans.
PG: Kemba Walker Vs. Norris Cole
SG: Lance Stephenson Vs. Dwyane Wade
SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist* Vs. Luol Deng
PF: Marvin Williams Vs. Shawne Williams
C: Al Jefferson Vs. Chris Bosh
*MKG's status was for the game was not determined before this article was released. If he doesn't play, Gerald Henderson will likely fill in once again for the Hornets.
The matchup that intrigues me the most tonight is at the shooting guard position. Lance Stephenson's struggle has been well documented. However, today is a new day and another chance for Stephenson to show he was "born ready."
What To Watch For
The rotation - Minus some injuries, Clifford's rotation has remained pretty constant throughout the year. We all know the Horners have struggled on offense this year, so that makes me wonder if Clifford shakes things up a bit.
Chris Bosh - I'm looking forward to seeing how Bosh plays tonight. He had the option to leave, but chose to stay in Miami. Yes, I know the money was greater, but it had to be more than that or the All-Star would have gotten on the next flight to Huoston.
I like the Heat tonight. Hopefully the Hornets can get things turned around. If they play like they did in the second half of last nights game, things will get ugly quick. Expect a veteran Heat team to take advantage of the Horners offensive uncertainty tonight. Hornets 88 Heat 99.
For those of you not attending tonight's game, it can be seen live on SportSouth at 6:30 with Hornets Live! On the radio side, the game will be available on 610AM, WFNZ.
