Michael Kidd Gilchrist’s Defense: Let’s be honest, MKG is in the Bobcat’s starting lineup for his defensive ability, not his shooting touch or offensive game. Being matched up against Carmelo Anthony, this will be an opportunity for the second year swingman to solidify his defensive presence. Hopefully, Kidd-Gilchrist will be able to slow Anthony’s offensive attack in order to keep the Bobcats in the game.
Projected Starting Lineups:
New York wins: 110-94. Coming off a ugly 21 point loss against the Pelicans last Saturday, my confidence in the Bobcats has diminished. With more talented players and a deeper roster, expect the Knicks to route the Bobcats in New York.
