Player To Watch For
Kemba Walker: Kemba’s been on fire lately (21.5 points a game in the month of December), but can he continue that high level of play against one of the NBA’s best point guards in Russell Westbrook? If he can, look for the Hornets to add to their current win-streak tonight.
Without their top, $27 million offseason addition, the Hornets have surprisingly turned what looked to be a train-wreck of a season into something that looks pretty promising. Four straight wins (all of which came with Lance out of the lineup), three games behind the 8th seeded Nets for a playoff berth, Charlotte certainly is starting to play the unselfish basketball that lead them all of last year.
But the Thunder are so damn good, as displayed by their win over the defending champions yesterday afternoon. Yes, the Hornets are improving, but aren't good enough yet to beat OKC on the road. Thunder win 112-101.
