Overview The Hornets are home again tonight, trying again to end their seven-game losing skid. Unfortunately, this matchup looks bleak for a possibility of a victory, as Steph Curry and Co. are in town, playing some of the best basketball in the League. Expect much of the same from the Hornets tonight at the Cable Box.
What to Watch For The Stephen Curry Show: Steph Curry, a Charlotte native, almost always plays his best when he returns. In fact, in four games since being drafted by the Warriors back in 2009, Steph is averaging 29.8 points a game against Charlotte in the Queen City. Curry also scored 19 against the Hornets in a blow out win earlier this month in California. Look for that to continue tonight, as Curry might be playing the best basketball out of anyone in the NBA right now. Combine that with Kemba Walker, who traditionally struggles to defend Steph, and I see Curry having a great game in Charlotte.
Prediction While I believe the Hornets will still turn this season around at some point, not much will change tonight. The Warriors provide some major matchup issues for the Hornets, based on talent and the purple and teal's injuries. Expect Golden State to once again expose Charlotte tonight. Warriors win 122-105.
