Through fifteen games this season, the Charlotte Hornets have looked like the old Charlotte Bobcats. Four wins, eleven losses, a six-game skid, last place. This wasn’t what we expected at the beginning of the year. Instead, 2014-15 was supposed to separate this ball club from its haunted days in blue and orange and propel them into the glory days of purple and teal. But this start clearly hasn’t done that, and unfortunately, with Portland and Golden State coming to town in the next couple of days, who knows when Charlotte will finally win a game. The schedule is getting tougher, the Hornets are getting weaker. It’s a bad combination for the Buzz.
Matchup To Watch For
Damian Lillard Vs Kemba Walker: With two of the premier young point guards in the league battling it out tonight, this should be a great matchup to watch.
As much as I would like to see the Hornets pull out a win and break a losing streak at home, Portland has too good of a team to be beaten by a decimated Charlotte ball club tonight. Blazers win 111-95.
