The first quarter was a nightmare. Even though as a fan you knew that nightmare was coming, it still scared you. The story of the first quarter was three pointers, three pointers, and more three pointers. It seems as though every time the Bobcats play in Portland they get demolished. It must be just a bad luck place for the Cats. The second quarter was no friendlier for the Cats as they gave up an alarming 70 points. That is the most points the Blazers have scored in a first half all year. For the Cats they put up 49 points. Not a bad total, but not near enough to keep things close.
The second half was very boring to say the least. The Cats were annihilated throughout the game. This road trip can not end fast enough for the Bobcats. The final score was Bobcats 104 Portland 134.
It’s frustrating for all of us to watch, but we must understand this is a work in progress. If they really think they can win now and possibly win a playoff series, they’re going to have to show it.
Grading The Starters:
Grades were not necessary tonight as none of the Bobcats deserved any decent grade. The Bottom line is it’s a team game and the Bobcats have some serious work ahead of them
